Conservation

In 2001, Bob and Irma Wray, recognized the alarming rate at which farms and forest were being developed in Rehoboth. To preserve and protect the land they formed a conservation restriction with the Trustees of Reservations.

Our Mission

Today, the Robert D Wray Charitable Trust is committed to continuing the conservation efforts started by Bob and Irma in 2001. Our mission is to conserve the ecologically and historically significant land owned by the trust. Partnerships with state and local conservation organizations serve to guide the trust’s team of volunteers to create an ecologically diverse habitat. Our conservation efforts aim to protect and increase the environmental values of our farm and forests while providing social or economic benefits that will extend far beyond the borders of our property.
